Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong functional experience in SAP FI (Senior).
- Solid knowledge of the main SAP Finance processes:
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- General Ledger (GL)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Good understanding of end-to-end business processes:
- RTR (Record-to-Report)
- PTP (Procure-to-Pay)
- OTC (Order-to-Cash)
- Experience supporting global SAP landscapes across North America (NA), South America (SA), and Europe, Africa and Middle East (EA/MEA) regions.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with consultants from other SAP modules and technical teams.
- Experience preparing functional specifications and supporting SAP developments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document business requirements from RTR, PTP, and OTC processes;
- Design and implement SAP FI solutions aligned with business needs and SAP best practices;
- Participate in workshops with business stakeholders to understand and challenge requirements;
- Perform impact assessments and identify cross-functional dependencies;
- Coordinate and collaborate with consultants from FI, CO, MM, SD, ABAP, and other SAP areas;
- Prepare functional specifications and support technical developments;
- Execute and support unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and production deployment activities;
- Provide functional support during project implementation and hypercare phases;
- Ensure solution quality, process standardization, and compliance with existing SAP architecture.
Nice to Have:
- Working knowledge of SAP CO;
- Good understanding of integrations between SAP FI and SD, MM, and CO modules;
- Experience analyzing and troubleshooting cross-functional business processes and integrations;
- Experience with non-SAP (N-ERP) to SAP integrations, including inbound and outbound interfaces;
- Familiarity with IDocs, middleware solutions, APIs, web services, and interface monitoring;
- Experience with workflows, substitutions, validations, and custom developments;
- Experience working in multinational and multi-regional SAP environments;
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA projects or SAP transformation initiative.
Language Requirements:
- Advanced English is mandatory;
- The consultant must be able to communicate effectively with global business and IT teams, lead workshops, participate in meetings, prepare functional documentation, and support users across North America (NA), South America (SA), and Europe, Africa & Middle East (EA/MEA) regions;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
